The purpose of ILAC is to eliminate technical barriers to trade and promote international cooperation in international trade by increasing the acceptance of test and calibration results issued by accredited laboratories. As of December 12, 2008, 62 laboratory accreditation institutions in 48 economies signed the ILAC mutual recognition agreement. The identification certificates with this mark can be mutually recognized internationally, and the identification results can be recognized by the United States, Japan, France, Germany, Britain and other countries.
